Susan Lynn Sarah - I'm sorry to hear that. Did you have a similar reaction after your first TEE? You may want to call to find out if there was a change in the form of anesthesia or duration of the procedure. The sedation normally dissipates pretty quickly. Wishing you the best!

Marie Myers The sedation May have been different between the 2 places. There is very little “hangover” with propofol, and a little more lingering fatigue with midazolam and / or fentanyl. Sedation can be done with either plan. Either way, you hopefully will be feeling back to normal soon.
