Sue's Journal

Hello Everyone. My name is Monica & I am Sue's sister. Sue's surgery was this morning at Mercy Hospital in Sacramento. I am so grateful to share that Sue's surgery went well. Sue was so calm this morning and she was ready. She has talked with me about this site and said how much everyone has helped her prepare by sharing their individual experiences & encouraging one another. I want to thank all of you for helping Sue. She said everyone is so caring and she thinks of you all as her heart family & her heart warriors. Sue is in ICU now & I was able to see her for a bit. I Love my Sister so much & her heart is already so beautiful, big & loving so it is so hard for me to imagine her beautiful heart is even better now...but it is. ❤ Love & Hugs to all of You. I am grateful for You! I will be sure to post more.

In 4 hours I will be on my way to Mercy General for my AVR. I have been blessed with incredible peace the past few months as I prepared for today. Without a doubt it's my faith, many prayers said, and said for me that have paved this way. I honestly look at it this way, God knows the outcome so there is no sense worrying. His will be done, and I know He has the greatest outcome planned for me. My work will come throughout my healing and recovery. I have this season of Lent to help me spiritually, and a loving and devoted husband Jose to care for my physical needs. My sister Monica, whom I've shared an unbreakable bond, has been there for me emotionally in a way only a sister and best friend can ❤. My other sisters, brother, and friends also walk this road with me. Lastly, I want to acknowledge my parish priests and community who have held me so close. But let me not forget all of you on this site who have provided an enormous amount of information, encouragement, and hope through their courage and caring for one another. God bless all of you, my forever heart brothers and sisters ❣
