I have recently been diagnosed with stenosis of my Mitral Valve, and Aortic Valve. The surgeon I saw with repair or replacement in mind, told me the procedure is extremely risky for me, and he preferred not to do it at this time.
I thought about getting a second opinion, if it’s that bad now how will it be next year. Then I thought suppose the 2nd DR. Says no problem let’s go for it. Do I get a third opinion and take 2 out of three, or let it ride. I felt fine until I was given this news, now I’m thinking all the things I was chalking up to old age May very well have been my heart. (Probably a combination of both).. What to do, what to do.
