Hi Beckie,

I was diagnosed last March with severe Stenosis of the Aorta valve. I went to the doctors feeling fatigued all the time. She went to listen to my heart and told me she heard a heart murmur. I was in shock because she has been listening to my heart for 20 years and now tells me this.

Had an echocardiogram which confirmed my severe Stenosis of the Aorta valve with bicuspid valve. Now note I am 60 now. Everyone told me to go with the biological value replacement. The doctors told me to go with this as well.

I am very scared and terrified. My surgery is January 22 and so I been trying to get organized. My sleep and anxiety has been horrible. Do your research and do what's best for you.

Beckie Jess Thank you Juli! I am doing just that. I agree, the anxiety is crippling at times, but I really do believe I will be fine. You will too! Let's try to imagine how life will be when we are healed and back to being ourselves again! I am looking forward to less fatigue, less worry, and having so much more energy at a job I love! I will be sending all the positive vibes your way!!
