Hi Linda (and Elsie). Sorry to hear that other stuff is going on, but let's not lose sight of the fact that you forgot it was your anniversary. Given all we have gone through, it is nice to wake up one day and say "oh yeah about that heart thing I went through...." So, yes. life is good and we are all blessed. Even if the rest of our bodies can't keep up with our fixed hearts (as I know from all my various sports injuries since surgery. LOL)! Much love, Mitch.

Linda Hillman Yeah its like getting the engine replaced and then the transmission goes. lol I will over come this too. After all I went thru OHS. I do feel very blessed I thank God all the time. I owe him big. Its just that I have to do it a little slower these days. But who know maybe I will be like the 6 million dollar man oops woman. I keep track of you on FB sounds like you are having a lot of fun these days.

It is always good to read the news from people who have had surgery and moved on with life...taking the time to turn around and share with the "Newbies" here at our community. I am out one year myself and really enjoyed reading how well you are doing. Linda Hillman Thanks Chris. One week more and I probably wouldn't have made it. God was good to us both. It was a very emotional time for me, as I knew exactly everything she was going thru and it just opened all of the thoughts back up. I think it is something you never get over with. But all in all we had a good time in the beginning

Linda Hillman HI Mitch, Good to hear from you. Glad everything is going good for you. Are you still running? I think about you often espically when I see all of these runs going on. Today up in Greenville they are having a Mut Strut. I would take my new puppy but shes not ready for anything like that yet. Maybe when she gets trained better next year. Shes only 6 months old is a German Shepard mix and wants to be a lap dog. She would play with every dog there. Well stay strong until later

My new puppy like to maul me and hits her big ole paws right where I don't want her to. We have to learn that she cant be a lap dog. She is a German Shepard mix and probably weights 50 lbs by now. Linda Hillman Hey Connie, That all sounds good to me, I will be waiting. To bad your not closer to Stephanie. I will buy moving to Greenville espically after this winter. Right now it is cold here. The high is suppose to be 38 but no snow.
we might get just a little north of I85 and we are south. My phone number is 864 369-5068. The good thing about living here is when you hit 65 and own property you can homestead. Our property taxs are below 200. Anyway stay warm. Hugs

Linda Hillman Hi Chris, I didn't know my neighbor that well but when I heard the news it made me count my blessings again and how lucky I was having the same thing. He wasn't aware of it. Had a headache on Fri and early Sun AM was gone. It just makes me think how lucky we all are.
Thanks for the thoughts for my Uncle. He is the last brother from my Dad, so it is sad but I'm getting the prayers out there for him as he will need a lot.
Yea if I could get rid of Arthur in my knee I would be fine. I just put up with the pain if I overdo. Don't know where it will take me. I've had the worse over with so guess I can put up with this. Oh well take care

Linda Hillman Hi Paul Good to hear from you. I didn't know my neighbor that well but it made me think and count my blessings. Any one with heart problems I always perk up. Now the coach for the Broncos football team has to have a heart valve replaced the end of the week. The team is doing so good this year. Yea Elsie is doing good. She isn't as thumpy as she use to be has calmed down a lot finally. Now I'm just waiting for the annoying little nerve pain to go away. Its not bad just annoying. I never thought I would be feeling anything like this after 13 months. Oh well I'm older what can I say at least I'm alive. The YMCA helps a lot espically the swimming. I think Elsie is a water cow. lol. When the music cuts off then we all hear each others bones cracking. Now I know why we have the music. Take care and until later

Linda Hillman Boy you hit that right. Life really is different. When my neighbor passed a week ago did I have strange feelings that it could have been me and I started counting my blessings again. I didn't know him very well but the funeral was pretty touching to me. I guess we all have these thoughts in our minds now, keeps us all in tune. Glad you are doing good I have read a lot of your journals.
