Lynn Whipp Rebecca is your husband's story here? Wondering do you live near Duke. You have probably already met Dr. Hughes, i guess? I was so blessed to come out well from surgery. But I was decently healthy going in. Had been able t walk a couple of miles. I had Druthie, a 24 year old Indian descent nurse (one of 2) first day in intensive care. Like you, I'm 5'4" and will have an aneurysm and valve dealt with.
It sounds like your surgeon has inspired much confidence--I'm glad you've located someone with such fine skills. All the best to you!
