Good news. I too, was moved from ICU within 12 hours and sitting in a chair and walking within 24 hours. Take each day one day at a time. You will be surprised at your recovery progress. Always remember you're not on this journey alone... Take care... Jim Renes

Well Ned, the big day is here and I hope you had a good nights sleep(if that was possible!) and are ready for the upcoming surgery. I hope all goes smoothly for you and you are able to start your recovery and healing process! It is a good thing you have been reading the posts from our community as it is one of the best things when facing surgery as we are able to learn so much from each others experiences. Just think, soon you will be able to add your own experiences and help some other heart brothers and sisters as well. Good Luck and Prayers will be said for you heart brother!
