Dan Marcantel WOW 3 years ago I had Mitral valve surgery at Mayo August 03/2016.
It did a number on my body and I gained about 40 lbs in 2 years. Found out my metabolism slowed down , my male hormones changed but once that got sorted out I started getting back in shape. I hope to compete in Bodybuilding soon in the masters division. I know it's trivial but means a lot to me that I can get back to doing things I never though I would again.

Had my check up and Mitral valve repair is still intact and looking good.
Still not happy with my workouts and some other small things to work on but I do feel great.

Tracy Simmons It is amazing how time flies once you've "recovered" from heart surgery. I say "recovered", because I don't know that we ever mentally recover from a life changing event such as heart surgery. Great to see that you're doing well.
