2 weeks post aortic valve repair today. Treated myself to 3 1/2 miles of trails instead of pavement pounding. Beautiful Colorado day!

God Bless you and I wish you a speedy recovery. I am awaiting a call back from Dr Svensson any day now. AVR 2 years ago, and now mod- severe leak. I hear he has a wonderful reputation!🤞🏻❤️

Eric Linnenburger Jeanette, hope you hear back real soon. So sorry you are already coming back after 2 years. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call back within a week of sending my stuff to him. Was fully expecting them to take the whole 3 weeks or whatever they normally say. Dr Svensson was fantastic! He's all business but so good at what he does. I literally spent maybe a total of 9 awake minutes with him pre and post op but I was ok with it. Numerous nurses on the step down floor told me they drop everything to follow him around when he's rounding. They say they always learn so much in that short time he meets with patients. Point being, his reputation goes way beyond YouTube and the internet. I wish you the best of luck!

Judy Paul Eric - I had an aortic valve replacement redo at Cleveland Clinic with Dr. Svensson on March 7th. My experience was terrific, too. Isn't CC a marvelous place?! My first AVR failed after three years - and I had the surgery done at U of Penn! This time was so much better. I was feeling fine within two weeks. I am so pleased that you are doing well. And the photo of you next to Dr. S's photo - nice touch!
