Cheryl Rose  I had my mitral valve repaired January 2014 and a second open heart surgery for mitral valve replacement August 19th 2016. I've had issues with heart beat in the 160's which resulted in a trip to the ED then admitted to the hospital to start a new med. A few days after I was discharged, I blacked out and fell on my back, hitting my head on the floor. I stopped taking one of my meds because my heart rate was 56. The incision healed well and no pain as long as I'm careful. The only problem I'm having is coughing, coughing, and more coughing. How do I stop the coughing?
