Samantha Vargas Thank you Tina! I attribute my fast healing to a few things. First and foremost I had the most amazing surgeon Dr. David Cheng in Rockford IL. Absolutely amazing. I have a naturally high pain tolerance so I refused pain meds except tylenol. That is pure luck though, I was born that way. Also I have a huge amount of support from people who try to make sure I stay positive and that is a huge help. Also, I am stubborn lol. Remember everyone heals differently and everyone has a different experience. It looks like you are doing great yourself and you look amazing! Stay positive and happy!

W. Carter Thank God they repaired your aneurysm before full dissection. I had one about the same size and had a graft done with a mechanical aortic valve in 2014. Haven't had any problems while exercising etc. You ought to be good to go now, the sky is the limit. :-) God bless your recovery!

Looks like you still have the Christmas Tree (ports and tubes) on your neck. I don't know why I called it that, but somehow that's what if felt like to me.
