Celebrating 12 weeks post AVR today with a long beach walk with the pooch. I felt great! Recovery has been up and down, but steadily better as the weeks past. I highly recommend cardiac rehab sessions once cleared following surgery.

Ted Niedziela Thanks Ana...It's gonna be a bioprosthetic valve along with a graft for the ascending aorta. The aortic root will be a decision by the doctor during the surgery. I've really appreciated this news feed and all the information and resources available on HVS. Kudos Adam!
