About Me (In My Own Words)
I was diagnosed with Aortic Stensosis when a heart murmur came out when I was pregnant with my son in 1996. It has been closely monitored and I was told in October of 2014 that my gradient was 70 and it was time for a full Aortic valve Replacement. I have researched every doctor possible and feel like I have chosen one of the best while being close to home. I have chosen to go with the St. Jude Mechanical Valve - this was a difficult decision but I went tried and true.
