Guys I did my 4 months echo and come to realise that the David’s procedure done on me has not achieved the desirable outcome. One of my valve has prolapsed . However my EF is 55% but my left atrium is severely dilated. My surgeon is suggesting to replace my native bi cuspid valve with ONX. Has anyone come across a second surgery within 5 months. My surgeon says we can do echo every month and think of doing the surgery first quarter next year.
Can Ross procedure be on the table . Bearing in mind I have graft in my ascending aorta due to aortic root replacement and aneurysm removal. What is the life of a pulmonary valve ?
