Well my surgery date has moved from 29 Jun to 20 Jul. Completed preop yesterday and tested negative for covid. However I disclosed I had covid in May and the train came to a stop. Apparently there us some medical concerns with patients who have had covid recently even though they test negative. Not sure on the medical data on this but it would be interesting to learn more.

Rose Madura Sorry to hear this. The only time I really cried was when my surgery was postponed for about a week. I don't know why it shook me so but it did. Then I tried to realize how much God is in control of everything and knew it was all part of His plan for me. Praying your wait isn't too awful bad. As Ana said, we will be waiting with you!

I had another echo last week and cardiologist I formed me it was time. Waiting for my appointment with the surgeon. Despite my pleading with the cardiologist that I feel great, he calmly reminded me that I have been living with a bicuspid valve for 55 years and my normal is not most people's normal. Lol. Tom Everson Hi I also felt (normal) with my bicuspid valve BUT. numbers are the numbers. Best. to attack the problem head on when you are young and have a choice on what kind of valve fits you the best The older you get the choices are limited.
Rose Madura Better to be able to plan for it than to have an emergency. Godspeed.
