Belinda says we are Heart Warriors! I like that! My grandson made a sword and my granddaughter a shield. My other two granddaughters, Bible verses to post. I think that makes me a heart warrior and I'm ready for battle!!

My Story... Seven years ago, I had no idea that I was sick. I was active, in good physical condition, and I had no symptoms when I was diagnosed with mild aortic stenosis caused by a bicuspid aortic valve. I'm now 71 and I'm still asymptomatic but my cardiologists, Dr. Goldring and Dr. Swanson (surgeon), tell me "It's time!". My aortic stenosis is in the severe range, my resting heart rate is around 80 and I've developed a 5.0 cm aneurysm on the stem of the ascending aorta. I've been called a "time bomb". Not good! However, I don't feel like one as I feel great. I'm blessed to even know I have this condition. Surgery is Wednesday, May 3. I'm in good hands. Life is better than I deserve.

I report for duty Wednesday, May 3, at 5 AM. Surgery is scheduled for 7:00 or so. I'm ready! My question is ... "Will every be as nice to me after the surgery?". I have to milk this as long as I can! Life is good. Thanks for your prayers!
