Tom Everson Hi yes I have it. I developed it in Sept ( 2 years after my aortic valve replacement). It means you have a irregular heart beat. Your cardiologist MAY have you wear a monitor for 2 weeks to get data. Google it to find out more information So far MY bundle block has not caused me many issues ( 3 small dizzy spells)

Marie Myers Left bundle branch block means that you have a blockage in the normal heart electrical conduction. You will probably have further tests done to evaluate the significance of the block. Your cardiologist is the best person to explain the implications for you.
Samantha McClain Thank you Marie, I will definitely ask at my next appointment.

I’m a 35 year old with aortic stenosis who has lived my whole like with this diagnosis. Until 10 days ago when I was diagnosed with AFIB. You would think I would be more ready or something having lived with the knowledge of a heart condition my whole life. But to be honest you don’t or at least I didn’t. I was and am not ready to hear that my heart is worsening that I need to have procedures done. (Having a TEE and cardioversion April 6th) a lovely CNA at the ER told me about this site. She shared her story and journey with me and I'm so thankful she did. I just made my profile but can already feel how helpful this is going to be to have a place to come put my story down. To let this all out even if no reads it.

DeLois Tweedy Welcome Samantha. I relate to your feelings. I have many heart issues related to radiation treatments for Hodgkins Lymphoma. I was in my early 20's at the time of treatments. I was told I would probably need valve replacements in the future, but tried to keep that fact waaay back in my mind. Fast fwd to 2020 at age 65, and symptoms hit with a vengeance, with A fib, heart attack, enlarged heart, and stenosis/regurgitation on aorta, mitral, and triscupid valves, with severe mitral annular calcification. I had a TAVR in 2020 to replace aortic valve. Even with knowing I would some day need this, I was still surprised and very frightened. Thankfully, I have a great heart team. I'm now facing mitral valve replacement, but somehow am not as scared, but am oddly excited to get this done and get on with life.
You are young and already appear to be researching and educating yourself abt heart issues. This site is absolutely the place to be for education and research, and encouragement. Blessings on your heart journey and keep posting.

Grace Mason Hi Samantha, I can totally relate. I have known about the surgery possibility for years, and maybe just told myself it may not ever happen, just to be able to not think about it daily. Now, hearing it is time, I am really anxious because it IS scary. Finding this site and the people here has made a huge difference. There is so much information and support. Glad you can join and share your story
