Peggy Peterson  My surgeon for the upcoming procedure is Kevin Hodges who is a partner of Patrick McCarthy whom I initially consulted 8 months ago. They are both based at Northwestern Chicago. 

I am going to consult with Dr. Hodges for his recommendations for aftercare cardiologists. I had severe coronary artery disease diagnosed by Dr. McCarthy during an initial consult regarding my rheumatic mitral valve. 

Nortwestern Chicago completed life saving/heart attack preventing  stent placements (3) within a few weeks of first consulting with them. 

I loved Northwestern Chicago so much that going forward  I will ride the train or drive for an hour or more to continue care with them. We’ll see.

Kimberly Eisenhut  I am also almost 2 hours away, in McHenry Ilinois. Where are you located, if you dont mind me asking? I was told Dr McCarthy does not do surgery any longer and could not speak with him.
