Terrie Syvertsen  Congratulations to the Graduate! Good to see you surrounded by your Family on for such an important milestone in your recovery. You look great, Happy and well looked after by your impressive "Team"! This life experience with our hearts is definitely life changing and it enables to search ourselves and our own individual truths and see what we are made of and also remind us just how many people love and care for us along the way! W. Carter  I just published a journal a couple of days ago on this subject. It will probably take you about 6 mo. to figure out what causes your inr to differ so much every week and for your body to get use to it. Warfarin can either be the most dangerous drug you will ever take, or your best friend depending on your way of everyday living you choose. (getting good rest, diet, bad habits, etc.) Like Meredith mine is steady as a rock now. It is 3.1 perfect (week in and week out) for the valve I have. It has taken me 8 mo. to get here and a couple of tragedy bleeds but who's counting anyways. :-)

Rita Savelis  It took me 4 months. Now it's steady. I wish doctors would let patients know that this is normal and that it can take months to stabilise. I had blood tests everyday for about 3 months!
