W. Carter I just published a journal a couple of days ago on this subject. It will probably take you about 6 mo. to figure out what causes your inr to differ so much every week and for your body to get use to it. Warfarin can either be the most dangerous drug you will ever take, or your best friend depending on your way of everyday living you choose. (getting good rest, diet, bad habits, etc.) Like Meredith mine is steady as a rock now. It is 3.1 perfect (week in and week out) for the valve I have. It has taken me 8 mo. to get here and a couple of tragedy bleeds but who's counting anyways. :-)

Rita Savelis It took me 4 months. Now it's steady. I wish doctors would let patients know that this is normal and that it can take months to stabilise. I had blood tests everyday for about 3 months!
