After it's all said and done, and you have a nice new healthy aortic valve helping to pump that blood through your heart and your body, you will be able to enjoy your kids and grandchildren even more than you do now. You'll love how great you feel a few months from now and you'll be such an inspiration for your husband for when he has his valve surgery too. xo πβ€οΈ

DEBORAH Vulpi Thanks....getting better every day...it was a tough procedure having it done through the groin.
Did not expect some much discomfort from this procedure..but its behind me now and the outcome was that my arteries are clear ...yippee so no bypass needed..all of my other pre-op will be done the day before at Columbia and my husband and I will stay overnight at the hotel within the hospital for my surgery the next morning..
Just found out last week that my husband Jim will need his aortic valve replaced also...so as soon as I am fully recovered he will be going next..
We both knew this was a possibility but did not expect it to be back to back..
Well once we are both recovered we will be like knew..looking forward to feeling well again.
