Paige Rupe Oh no... make sure you tell your anesthetist all about that. Have you had surgeries where you've responded badly to it? Even though it's scary, know that there are always more than one option in any corner of medicine and I'm sure your medical team will do everything necessary to keep you as safe and comfortable as possible throughout your procedure.
Yes my surgery went very well. I'm going on two weeks post-op tomorrow and I feel better everyday! It's definitely been a difficult experience but the human body is more resilient than you could imagine. Healing begins with a positive attitude. :) <3

Ashley Cross I am so glad to hear that! Yes i have had bad reactions before. last year i went into respiratory distress and was on the breathing machine for over 6 hours! Have you noticed any improvement in your symptoms? I guess it helps by being young!

And yes I have noticed that my brain doesn't feel quite so fuzzy like before. I have a lot more clarity and also more circulation everywhere in my body. I have more color in my face and I don't feel lightheaded every time I get up anymore. I also don't have chest pain anymore which is wonderful.
I'm so sorry you had that happen to you last year. I can't say with certainty that won't happen again to you because I am not a doctor but it helps that it's happened to you before so that doctors know what not to do this time around. Have you asked your doctor about what may have caused that? Having an idea of what's happening to you may lessen your anxiety about it.

Ashley Cross That is wonderful to hear!! I so ready to have more energy and this horrible chest pain to go away! I bet that is amazing to already see benefits from the surgery!! We just learned that I have a very small and a altered airway. So my throat swells which then equals I can`t breathe. I am grateful for my care team so far as they have been amazing. I think the worst part is waiting for surgery!
