Lilly Black Beautiful painting! I read your story that you are a swimmer. When your scar heals from surgery, (about 6 weeks, not completely but enough to go into the pool) you can choose swimming for your cardio rehab. I swam laps daily for 6 years after my first surgery for 30 minutes. It was the best cardio rehab! I wish you a great outcome! good luck!

Phyllis Petersen Isn't it great Giselle and Jill to meet others on the same journey. Yes, Catie, I enjoyed meeting you too. I was also able to meet Marie while I was there, and Amy, who lives here in Tucson too, and talked to others on the phone as well as through this site. On Friday I will be meeting Vanessa here in NYC. There are so many supportive, wonderful people that I've met through this community and it's their knowledge and caring that has gotten me through.
