Melissa Houser Wow - I too felt great walking after surgery (I did 12 labs around the stepdown unit 6 days after surgery and was walking 15-20 min 3 times daily when I got home) but am not sure I would have been able to do a 5K walk 3 weeks out. I saw your other post and noted you said the following day that you "felt it." I'm sure you needed a break from walking after pushing yourself a bit. Just don't overdo it - a reminder to everyone else here who may want to follow suit. Congrats!
