Suelynn Hanegraaf Oh, Kali, hang in there. You’re in the right place where these things can happen. I found comfort that I was still in the hospital recovering from ❤️‍🩹 surgery when my a-fib started. I found keeping up with walking in the hospital corridors and seeing & talking to other patients helped distract me from thinking and worrying. Praying that you will get resolution soon so that you can go home to recover. 🙏🏻

Sue Maize I know how you feel Kali and I’m sorry for this frustration. You get to a point where you just want to be home recovering in familiar, and let’s face it, more comfortable and hygienic surroundings. The surgery was a success. Minimally invasive mitral valve replacement with an Onyx brand valve.

Was in for 6:15am, woke up around 3-4 pm, my mom was there with me. It took an hour before the tube was remove! Was very relieved to have it out.

8 pm i was sat up and tried to stand, blood pressure ok. Tested sugars, and i require insulin (im not diabetic). Had some nausea, too.

Feeling very positive. Thanks to everyone on this website!

Sue Maize Wow Kali!! I didn’t have the capacity to even post a message for days after my surgery! You’re doing really well! I also had high sugar while in the hospital but nothing upon discharge! Praying all continues to go well in your recovery! 🙏🏻❤️‍🩹
