Hi Kali ,
You are doing really well .
I know you ‘ll be wanting to get home but it ‘s best to get the infection treated before you go home .
I was in hospital four weeks before I had my surgery , transferred to a city hospital and was there for a week after the surgery . It was during covid times and I wasn't allowed any visitors or to leave the ward .
Once you can have a shower and when you have some fresh air and head home it will feel really good .
Try and get as strong as you can , go for little walks if you are well enough .
Make sure that you are drinking enough fluids and eating a balanced diet with protein .
