wen li Wanda, You look great! Thank you for sharing. My mom, 74, healthy except her heart. She is going to have mitral and tricuspid fix and maze procedure in 2 wks. She's been having a fib for over 20 years. To your experience, does Maze work for you? The risk is 3-5 percent of chance of a pace maker if the procedure fails. The doctor did say success rate is 70%. My mom has been on blood thinner for a few years.

Wanda Mroz Well it worked for almost a year and then I had atrial flutter last July which required cardioversion. Held for six months and this past Thursday had afib again. I ended up in the ER and am currently in the hospital for 3 days to regulate the heart rate with meds. Requires monitoring for five doses. The drug has worked... took my hr from 140 to the 60s. In a couple of weeks I'll be scheduled for an ablation. So it didn't work for me but I would do it again if there were a chance it would work. I'd do it.

Wanda Mroz Thank you!! I tried Mederma for a few days but it caused itchiness so I discontinued it after a week or so. Really didn't use anything except some regular lotion now and then. i know my incision was glued... Maybe just a good job by the surgeon.
